Experience:
  - Minimum of 8 years of experience in ISO 20022 Payments Implementation.
  - The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ISO 20022 messaging standard and its application in payment systems.
  - This role involves leading the implementation of ISO 20022-compliant payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing technical expertise to support business objectives.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ISO 20022 Payments Implementation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ISO 20022 messaging standard and its application in payment systems. 
This role involves leading the implementation of ISO 20022-compliant payment solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing technical expertise to support business objectives. The candidate will play a critical role in enabling real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and other payment innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ISO 20022 Implementation:
   - Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of ISO 20022-compliant payment solutions.
   - Ensure seamless integration of ISO 20022 messaging standards with existing payment systems, core banking platforms, and third-party networks.
   - Translate business requirements into technical specifications for ISO 20022 implementation.

2. Payment System Integration:
   - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate ISO 20022 messaging into payment gateways, switches, and clearing systems.
   - Work with real-time payment systems, cross-border payment platforms, and instant payment schemes (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, FedNow, UPI).
   - Configure and customize middleware and APIs to support ISO 20022 messaging.

3. Technical Expertise:
   - Provide technical guidance on ISO 20022 message formats, including pain.001, pain.002, pacs.008, and camt.053.
   - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ISO 20022 message parsing, validation, and transformation.
   - Conduct performance tuning and optimization of payment systems to handle ISO 20022 messaging.

4. Project Management:
   - Manage end-to-end ISO 20022 implementation projects, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
   - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, compliance, and business units) to ensure successful delivery of ISO 20022 solutions.
   - Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user manuals.

5. Compliance and Standards:
   - Ensure compliance with ISO 20022 standards and regulatory requirements.
   - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to ISO 20022 and payment systems.
   - Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to messaging standards.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
   - Work closely with internal stakeholders (product managers, compliance officers, and business analysts) to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
   - Liaise with external vendors, partners, and payment networks (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, Fedwire) to ensure smooth implementation and operation of ISO 20022-compliant systems.

7. Business Development- Contribute to creating business and client proposals on Payments and cards consulting/implementation. Also contribute to thought leadership by creating TL content on Payments and banking innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, PCI Professional) are a plus.
