Job Description - QA Function 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality System Documentation as per ISO 9001:2015 which includes maintaining and upgradation of QMS Manual, Operating Procedures & relevant other controlled documentation.
2. Maintain correspondence with M/s LRQA Certification body for External Audits. 
3. Co-ordinate with Nominated Representatives (NR’s) and Internal Auditors for ensuring effective implementation of QMS in the organisation.
4. Undertake Internal Audits as per 9001 & Prepare Audit Plan as per QMS cycle. 
5. Prepare Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) for New Build and Repair/Refit vessels.
6. Monitor Ship Delivery Documentations (SDD) status and provide support to ensure the documents are produced as per the requirement of Client.
7. Support for External Audits wrt ISO 3834 : 2021 & ISO 17025 : 2017.
8. Timely Review of Vendor QAP’s & GRAQ’s submitted by Vendor and Design dept.
9. Timely input to BD Team wrt RFP/Build Specification Requirement’s. 
10. Timely Analysis and Improvement wrt Inspection Remarks/Reworks/GD Defects. 
11. Support for Implementation of Business Excellence Model (EFQM) & CMMI L3.
12. Maintain / upgrade Shipyard Quality Standard and Critical tech. documentation.
13. Undertake Vendor Evaluation/Supplier Evaluation as per requirement.
14. Review of Statement of Technical Requirements (SOTR’s) provided by Design.
15. Prepare Measurement Plans & Protocols as per project requirements.
16. Ensure timely Calibration of Yard instruments registered with QA.
17. Digitalize QA processes in consultation with IT/ERP team.
18. Collate learnings from each project and assist in conduct Lessons Learnt (LL) workshop as per requirements.
19. Conduct of MRM as per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
20. Preparation of various presentations on process performances for periodic review with Management.
21. Monthly follow-up for monitoring of trends for DPP/KPI’s to identify the gaps in Product conformity and Process performance and provide regular feedback to Management.
22. ISO Awareness training to employees/Internal auditors.
23. Prepare Annual budget for Quality function. 
24. Assist in CAS Audit & Inter Business Audit 
25. Assistance in providing input for Quality Council Meeting & maintain MOM.
26. Assistance in providing input for Q4 Zine (IC Level) & Quality Bulletin (Quality Council)
27. Maintain Technical Library in Yard.
28. Conduct Quality Month Celebration on November month involving all stakeholders.
