Vessel Planner:
•
Prepare Crane Work Plan for vessels calling at terminal.
•
Vessel Planning Activities prior to the ship arriving to the Port in order to maximise efficiency of resources
•
Achieve Maximum Productivity and usage of resources including cranes
•
Monitor execution as per plan and ensures that the load and discharge is performed accurately and timely
•
Changes or modifies the plan if required and certifies the load paln for every shift daily.
•
Prepares Reports as per fixed schedule and generates performance Reports
•
Responsible for ensuring that vessels sail at the earliest possible time possible
•
Optimal Usage of TOS for maximizing operational Efficiency.
•
Maximum utilization of available Quay cranes
•
Stowage to facilitate high gross crane rates.
•
Effective liaison with clients in order to obtain bay plans and import/export status plan.
•
Monitor import and export stacks and liaise with the relevant Officer/ Sr. Officer/ Excutive, if stacking appears to be unsatisfactory.
•
Prepare discharge and load sequences.
•
Prepare “Order of Work” schedules in conjunction with the relevant Supervisor.
