Job Description:
What’s the role?
As Marketing Advisor, you support the Gas Marketing team in identifying potential customers, building the sales funnel, and managing key accounts from origination through contract execution and post-deal management. You are central to providing trading support, including counterparty onboarding, deal entry, post-deal activities, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of communications and presentations.
What you’ll be doing
- Support the Marketing Team—marketing managers, business analysts, and supply managers—across pre- and post-deal activities, including KYC/counterparty onboarding, deal entry, contract drafting, credit security management, and coordination with Commercial Operations and Finance.
- Assist in negotiations and structuring of commercial agreements and physical transactions (LNG, Gas, Regasification, and Pipeline).
- Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) portal with accurate, up-to-date key account information.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes related to deals and mandates, and proactively help refine processes to improve speed, simplicity, and efficiency.
- Manage record keeping and documentation to meet compliance standards for the marketing team.
- Execute deal entries and oversee post-deal contract management activities.
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with customers, suppliers, transporters, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Work closely with Business Development, Commercial Operations, Power, and Regulatory teams, providing inputs to support new business development and other growth opportunities.
- Conduct research, manage expectations across stakeholders, and support activities that often involve cross-functional collaboration and complex commercial discussions.
What you bring
- 3–5 years of experience, ideally in the midstream gas/LNG business.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Commerce; a postgraduate degree in Management (Commercial, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Engineering) is preferred.
- High level of numeracy, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand and structure complex commercial arrangements and think creatively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across large geographical distances and deliver fast, effective outcomes within a global team.
- Prior experience and understanding of commercial agreements such as LNG and Gas Sales/Purchase Agreements, Pipeline Transportation Agreements, and Regasification Service Agreements (preferred).
- Proficient in productivity tools such as MS Office and Salesforce; knowledge or exposure to ETRM systems is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop trust-based internal and external partnerships.
- Self-starter mindset, comfortable working with ambiguity and conducting wide-ranging research with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, collaborate, and influence across multiple functions.
- Resilience in navigating business development and negotiations, which can often be complex and lengthy.
- Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work outside regular business hours due to the nature of the business and time zone differences.
