National Sales Head - Bancassurance - HDFC - Vehicle Loan Vertical
Description
. Drive the business strategy to achieve targets
- Drive the P&L to deliver topline (gross premium) targets on a monthly basis by pushing cross sell business for existing and new retail products
- Prepare and recommend campaign designs, proposals and plans to maximize sales
- Incentivize the branches and internal teams by implementing R&R for achieving the desired targets
- Study the HDFC business, competition, customer segmentation, loss ratios and implement the correct sales strategies, product mix, processing and backend support to increase sales from the channel partner
- Drive growth through regions depending on no. of branches and the potential of the geography
- Work with internal teams to build processes and integrations to enable the business
- Recommend manpower requisitioning and positioning as per requirement
2. Relationship Management
- Maintain relationship with Zonal, Cluster/Circle and Branch heads to understand their requirements, manage any escalations and provide customized products as required to drive high sales and business
- Specify targets as per the branch’s potential and capability and provide the requisite training and support in achieving the same
- Identify new products requirements/ customization as required in existing products and work with the product team accordingly as well as ensure smooth processing of all aspects leading up to the product roll-out
- Coordinate with internal teams to develop, implement, integrate and ensure smooth processing of the business
3. Functional Review
- Regular reviews with NHOD
- Monthly and quarterly review with the team to monitor achievement of individual targets, discuss business issues and design action plans to course correct, if required
- Conduct periodic reviews with channel partner to drive business numbers and address any escalations/concerns
- Periodic reviews with the product development and other internal teams to determine product performance and enhancements
4. Team Management
- Participate in recruitment process to identify right talent for various positions within the team
- Assign team members with appropriate KRAs and KPIs and set clarity on performance expectation
- Support team members in delivering their responsibilities in business as usual by keeping them motivated, resolving their concerns/ challenges, if any and maintaining a positive team spirit
Build and enhance capabilities within the team by providing required technical and functional trainings
Skills Required
Should be well-versed with the Banking sector and market trends Should be pleasant personality and establish strong or profitable relationships. To be able to work in a complex and high pressure situations.
