National Technical Manager-Loan Against Property (LAP)-Technical

The National Technical Manager will lead the technical valuation function across India for high-value LAP portfolios. This includes managing a team, coordinating with external agencies, ensuring accurate property valuations, and advising credit teams on collateral acceptability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead a nationwide team of regional and area technical managers.
• Build and develop a technically strong team with deep market knowledge.
• Review and approve technical valuation reports.
• Ensure fair property rates, proper documentation, and compliance with local construction norms.

 

Agency Management & Site Visits:

• Identify, empanel, and manage external valuation agencies.
• Monitor agency performance (TAT, quality, service levels).
• Personally inspect large or complex properties.
• Prepare and validate valuation reports for high-value assets.
• Act as a technical advisor to credit teams for collateral-related queries or disputes.
• Regularly interact with brokers and valuation firms.

Stay updated on property prices and regulatory changes

Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
