Qualification:

B.E. / Diploma / BSc IT / BCA / MCA / BTech (No education gap, Full time)

Certifications Preferred:

1. CCNA or equivalent networking certification (Mandatory)
2. Fortinet NSE – Fortinet Network Security Associate (Preferred)
3. PCNSA - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (Preferred)
4. Juniper JNCIA, JNCIA-SEC (Preferred)
5. CCNP, CISSP, or equivalent security certification (Preferred)
6. At least one certification in a firewall OEM (Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto, or Juniper) is mandatory
7. ITIL Foundation (Optional)

Specific Remarks/Requirement by Customer:

Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled L2 Network & Security Engineer to support and manage our client's network infrastructure and security landscape. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on

experience with firewall management, network troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with security policies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide second-level support for network and security incidents and requests, ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.
2. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
3. Implement and support network security measures such as firewall policies, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and VPN configurations.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
5. Assist in the configuration and management of network devices and security appliances.
6. Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify security gaps and mitigate risks.
7. Provide support for audits, assessments, and other security-related compliance requirements.
8. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and technologies.
9. Respond to and resolve network and security incidents within agreed SLAs.
10. Maintain accurate network documentation and ensure it’s up to date.
11. Participate in periodic on-call support for network and security issues as required.

Technical Skills/Knowledge Requirement

1. Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) – Must
2. Good knowledge of switching and routing protocols – Must
3. VPN (IPSec / SSL) setup and troubleshooting – Must
4. Experience with network security tools (IDS/IPS, SIEM, Web Filtering,) Must
5. Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi controllers and access points – Must
6. Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, OpsRamp, Wireshark,) – Preferred
7. Understanding of network segmentation and Zero Trust architecture – Preferred
8. Basic scripting knowledge (Python / Bash / PowerShell) – Added advantage
