Job description

## Job Title **L3 Storage & SAN Engineer – Hitachi** ## Role Summary The L3 Storage & SAN Engineer is responsible for **BAU operations and technical ownership** of Hitachi enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure in a **24x7 managed services environment**, while also supporting **project-based implementation and transition activities**. The role acts as the **final escalation point** and ensures availability, performance, and stability of mission-critical storage platforms. --- ## Key Responsibilities * Own **day-to-day BAU operations** for Hitachi storage and SAN infrastructure * Provide **L3 support** for incidents, problems, and changes as per ITIL processes * Perform **advanced troubleshooting and RCA** for critical and recurring issues * Administer **Hitachi VSP storage platforms** (provisioning, masking, performance tuning) * Manage **SAN fabrics** including zoning, multipathing, and host connectivity * Execute **firmware upgrades, patches, and planned maintenance** activities * Monitor storage
