Operations Transformation - Executive Director

Lead the definition and execution of the AI strategy for Securities Services Operations, shaping the capability, accelerating value creation, and driving adoption at scale. You will translate operational challenges into AI-enabled solutions, orchestrate the data and workflow enablers required to deliver outcomes, and clearly articulate the vision and impact to internal stakeholders and clients. 
Job responsibilities
  • Execute on the multi‑year AI strategy for Securities Services Operations, prioritizing a pipeline of high‑impact use cases aligned to business goals and client needs.
  • Identify and frame operational problems that can be reimagined with AI and link them to measurable value, OKRs, and target benefits.
  • Ensure data and workflow readiness by partnering across Operations, Product Development, and Technology to improve data quality and availability, integrate with case management and APIs, and embed human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
  • Lead discovery, PoCs, and MVPs through to scaled deployment; develop change management, training, and adoption plans to realize benefits at scale.
  • Drive disciplined value management: business cases, funding, benefits tracking, KPI dashboards, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships across Operations leadership, Applied AI/ML, Product Development, and Technology; convene forums and provide data‑driven updates.
  • Serve as a client‑facing thought leader: articulate the AI vision and value proposition and showcase outcomes through demos and case studies.
  • Build and mentor a small cross‑functional team or virtual network (product owners, process SMEs, change/adoption leads) to deliver the roadmap and embed new ways of working.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 15+ years of experience in financial services across Operations, Technology, and/or analytics with a track record of leading large‑scale, data/AI‑enabled transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate operational challenges into AI‑enabled solution patterns and deliver scaled outcomes.
  • Proven portfolio leadership: building business cases, securing funding, managing budgets and benefits, and governing multi‑workstream programs.
  • Executive communication and storytelling—able to simplify complex topics, craft clear narratives, and present to senior leadership and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • MBA or Master’s degree.
  • Familiarity with process mining, task mining, business process modelling, case management.
  • Certifications in Agile, project/program management, foundational AI/ML certificates.
  • Experience in Securities Services such as fund accounting, custody, and middle office.
