Summary: A PeopleSoft Functional Business Analyst (BA) acts as the bridge between business users and technical teams, responsible for gathering requirements, configuring modules (FSCM), conducting fit/gap analyses, and testing system changes. They troubleshoot, support production, and optimize workflows in PeopleSoft. Roles & Responsibilities: - Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define, analyze, and document business processes, functional requirements, and use cases. - System Configuration & Support: Configure PeopleSoft modules (e.g. AP/PO, General Ledger, AP) to align with business needs. - Testing & Quality Assurance: Create, maintain, and execute test scenarios, test scripts (UAT), and integration testing. - Functional Design: Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications for technical developers to build customizations or reports. - Production Support: Act as a subject matter expert, diagnosing and resolving production issues for end-users. - Reporting & Analytics: Develop queries, run reports, and perform data analysis. Professional & Technical Skills: - Generally, 3-5+ years of experience with PeopleSoft applications (FSCM). - Strong understanding of PeopleSoft table structures, SQL, and Query Manager. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Business. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft People Tools. - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
