JOB DESCRIPTION OF PHARMACIST • To supply prescribed and over-the-counter medicines to customers in a retail pharmacy and give advice on the safe use of medicines and possible side effects. • Check prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors & that they are appropriate & safe for the individual/ patient as per their need. • Handle customer complaints/ queries & counselling/ resolving patient’s issues, whenever needed • Greet and attend customers. • Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage • Contacting referring physicians with the questions regarding prescription. • Organizing the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster • Listen to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice • Keep records of patient history, pharmacy files, patient profiles, and of all activities regarding medication • Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures as per FDA • Advising and suggesting customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Eligibility Criteria • Degree in Pharmacy • Valid Pharmacist license from Maharashtra • Experience: Minimum 1 year • Excellent communication skills with a customer oriented approach • Proven experience as a pharmacist
