Job Title: Primavera P6 Scheduler / Planning Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Define activities, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Monitor progress against baseline and prepare variance reports.
  • Perform critical path analysis, resource leveling, and schedule risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for schedule updates.
  • Generate reports including Gantt charts, S-curves, and resource histograms.
  • Support project recovery planning and provide recommendations for schedule optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project scheduling using Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, resource allocation, and earned value analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: PMP, PMI-SP, or Primavera P6 Professional Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure, EPC, or construction projects.
  • Familiarity with cost loading and integration with project controls systems.
