Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Wealth Management Modernization Business Analyst
We are looking for experienced Business Analysts to support a portfolio of strategic initiatives within a global Wealth Management organization. These initiatives cover investment servicing, wealth lending, front-office enablement, operational efficiency improvements, and modernization of core platforms and workflows.
This role is focused on improving business processes, evolving operating models, and supporting adoption of new systems and tools across the wealth management lifecycle. Strong wealth management domain experience, capital markets product knowledge, and the ability to work closely with technology teams are essential.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to translate business needs into clear process, system, and data requirements that support modernization initiatives.
The role combines practical business analysis delivery with continuous improvement of business workflows and supporting technology capabilities.
Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Modernization
Work with stakeholders across Front Office, Lending, Investment teams, Operations, and Technology
Capture and document business and functional requirements
Review existing processes, system touchpoints, and data flows
Help define improved workflows and future-state operating models
Modernization Across Wealth Domains
Investment & Portfolio Servicing
Support initiatives affecting investment advisory processes, portfolio servicing, and reporting workflows
Evaluate impacts of product lifecycle events and portfolio activities on downstream processes and systems
Wealth Lending
Support improvements to wealth lending and collateralized credit processes
Analyze impacts across origination, monitoring, collateral management, and lifecycle servicing
Front Office
Help enhance relationship manager workflows, CRM usage, and client servicing processes
Ensure requirements reflect day-to-day front-office usage and client engagement needs
Operations
Review and improve operational workflows supporting product servicing and client instructions
Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and stronger controls
Capital Markets Product Knowledge (Required)
Working knowledge of:
Equities
Fixed income / bonds
Derivatives (vanilla products and lifecycle events)
Understand how financial product lifecycle events influence advisory, lending, operational, and system processes
Ensure modernization initiatives remain aligned with product structures and constraints
Business Readiness & Adoption
Support the rollout of new processes, tools, and platforms
Contribute to:
Process documentation
Training inputs
User guidance materials
Stakeholder communication
Help ensure smooth adoption of new ways of working

Minimum Qualifications
BTECH
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Produce structured documentation including:
Requirements specifications
Business rules
Process maps
System interaction diagrams
Data dependencies
Support business testing activities
Perform Pre-UAT readiness validation
Assist users during UAT cycles by clarifying workflows and expected outcomes
Act as a link between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams
Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and requirement validation sessions
Provide clear documentation and status updates to stakeholders and program leadership
Experience working as a Business Analyst within Wealth Management or Private Banking
Experience supporting process improvement or platform modernization initiatives
Strong capital markets product knowledge
Understanding of front-to-back wealth management processes
Experience working with technology delivery teams
Investment advisory and portfolio servicing processes
Wealth lending and collateralized products
Operational product servicing workflows
CRM, portfolio, lending, and operational platforms
Data flows and reporting dependencies
Risk and control considerations within wealth management
Strong communication across business and technology stakeholders
Structured and detail-oriented approach
Good workshop facilitation skills
Comfortable working in evolving delivery environments
Strong sense of ownership and accountability
