Inviting applications for the role of  Principal Consultant-  Wealth Management Modernization Project Manager 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of strategic initiatives within a global Wealth Management organization. These initiatives span investment servicing, wealth lending, front-office workflow improvements, operational efficiency, and modernization of core platforms and processes. 

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery of business and technology change initiatives, ensuring coordination across business stakeholders, technology teams, and change delivery functions. Strong wealth management domain experience and the ability to manage cross-functional programs are essential 

You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering modernization initiatives across wealth management functions. The role requires working closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, technology delivery teams, and operations to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives. 

This position combines project delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and execution oversight. 

Responsibilities 

Project Delivery & Governance 

• Lead delivery of wealth management modernization initiatives 

• Define and maintain project plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps 

• Track progress, risks, dependencies, and issues across workstreams 

• Ensure alignment between business, technology, and operations teams 

Provide regular status reporting to program leadership and stakeholders 

Stakeholder Management 

• Work closely with stakeholders across: 

• Investment and advisory teams 

• Wealth lending 

• Front Office 

• Operations 

• Technology delivery teams 

• Facilitate steering meetings, working sessions, and decision forums 

• Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams 

Business & Technology Change Coordination 

• Coordinate delivery across business process change and platform modernization activities 

• Ensure requirements, design, testing, and implementation phases are aligned 

• Support coordination between Business Analysts, SMEs, and technology teams 

• Help manage interdependencies across initiatives and workstreams 

Planning & Execution 

• Develop and maintain: 

• Delivery plans 

• RAID logs 

• Dependency tracking 

• Resource coordination 

• Monitor progress against agreed timelines and objectives 

• Escalate risks and issues where required 

Testing, Readiness & Implementation Support 

• Coordinate business testing cycles and readiness activities 

• Ensure UAT timelines, environments, and stakeholder participation are aligned 

• Support implementation planning and rollout coordination 

• Track post-implementation actions and stabilization activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering change initiatives in Wealth Management or Private Banking 

• Experience managing business and technology delivery workstreams 

• Understanding of front-to-back wealth management processes 

• Experience working with capital markets products and wealth platforms 

Ability to manage multi-stakeholder delivery environments 

Business & Domain Knowledge 

• Investment advisory and portfolio servicing processes 

• Wealth lending and collateralized credit workflows 

• Front-office client servicing processes 

• Operational product servicing workflows 

• Risk and governance considerations in wealth management
