Product Manager-HOUSING FINANCE-Product Manager
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Product Manager at the Assistant Vice President level to drive strategy, development, and lifecycle management of Home Loan Product. The role requires deep domain expertise in mortgage lending, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across sales, credit, risk, operations, and technology to deliver profitable growth and superior customer experience.
This position will own product performance, innovation, and market expansion initiatives while ensuring regulatory and risk compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and execute product strategy aligned with business growth, ROE, and portfolio quality objectives
- Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive positioning
- Drive new product launches, variants, and feature enhancements
- Own product lifecycle management and profitability metrics
Business & Portfolio Management
- Monitor portfolio performance including sourcing mix, yields, cost, and risk indicators
- Drive initiatives to improve conversion, disbursal volumes, and customer acquisition
- Support pricing strategy and program structures in collaboration with risk and finance
- Prepare business cases, forecasts, and performance reviews for senior leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams
- Translate business requirements into system/process enhancements
- Drive implementation of digital journeys and automation initiatives
- Manage stakeholder alignment and execution timelines
Customer & Market Insights
- Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes
- Use customer insights and data analytics to improve proposition and experience
- Enhance value propositions for targeted segments (salaried, self-employed, professionals, etc.)
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in audits, reviews, and product approvals
- Maintain documentation and product governance frameworks
