Job Description – Product Manager. Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to oversee and enhance our Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS). The role requires strong analytical skills, MIS reporting capabilities, and hands-on experience with system configuration, UAT, and process optimization. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Credit, Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to ensure seamless product delivery and performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       MIS & Reporting

o   Develop, maintain, and automate dashboards and MIS reports for business tracking and decision-making.

o   Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data across lending systems.

·       System & Master Data Management

o   Handle and maintain system masters related to LOS & LMS (products, parameters, policies, hierarchies, user roles, etc.).

o   Coordinate with IT/Tech teams for configuration changes and ensure data integrity.

·       UAT & Product Enhancements

o   Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades, new features, and bug fixes.

o   Document test cases, track defects, and ensure timely resolution.

o   Act as the bridge between business requirements and technology teams.

·       Process Optimization

o   Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement within LOS & LMS.

o   Suggest and implement enhancements to improve user experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.

·       Stakeholder Collaboration

o   Liaise with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Operations, Compliance, Legal) to gather requirements and translate them into product features.

o   Train business users on new functionalities and provide ongoing support.

 

Key Skills & Competencies

·       Strong understanding of Loan Origination and Loan Management Systems.

·       Proficiency in MIS/reporting tools (Advanced Excel preferred).

·       Experience in UAT, product testing, and business requirement documentation.

·       Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Qualifications

·       Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field.

·       3–6 years of relevant experience in Product Management, MIS, or Lending System operations (LOS/LMS).

·       Prior experience in NBFCs, Banks
