Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workday Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in providing support for Workday Time Tracking , Absence and Scheduling modules. This role will involve handling both L1 (first line) and L2 (second line) support tasks, ensuring smooth operations and resolving user issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

L1 Support:

  • User Support: Provide first-line support to end users for issues related to Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management and Scheduling.
  • Issue Logging: Record, categorize, and prioritize incoming support tickets using the company’s ticketing system.
  • Basic Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve basic system issues, including login problems, navigation assistance, and data entry errors.
  • Guidance and Training: Assist users by providing guidance on Workday features, best practices, and procedures.
  • Escalation: Escalate complex issues to Workday Administrators when necessary, ensuring detailed documentation of the problem.

L2 Support:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Address and resolve more complex issues that have been escalated, including configuration problems, data discrepancies, and integration errors.
  • System Configuration: Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking, Absence Management and Scheduling settings according to business requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and validation to identify and correct inconsistencies or errors in timesheets, schedules, or system-generated reports.
  • Testing and Documentation: Participate in system testing during updates or new feature rollouts, ensuring thorough documentation of test results and issue resolutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the HRIS team to resolve system issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop and update support documentation, FAQs, and training materials for both L1 support staff and end users.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience supporting Workday Time Tracking and Scheduling modules.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with Workday configuration and administration.
  • Basic understanding of HR processes and time management systems.
  • Proficiency in ticketing systems and ITIL-based support workflows.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Pro Certification/Knowledge in Time Tracking, Absence Management or Scheduling.
  • Experience in supporting other Workday modules such as Payroll.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying languages for data analysis.
