Role Description

• This branch of Deutsche Bank Group company is looking for extremely bright candidates for the Group Strategic Analytics (GSA) team in India. GSA is the bank’s center of excellence for all analytical effort within the bank. It has a footprint in global hubs like London, New York, Frankfurt, Berlin, Tokyo & Singapore.
• The candidate hired in this role is required to work on backend server-side code in Python for business flow automation. Candidate needs to have good knowledge of Pandas library and a strong focus on performance tuning of the code. Experience with the Flask framework is highly preferred. A background in C++ would be a significant advantage. Overall, we are looking for candidates who can meet business expectations and be accountable towards product functionality and efficiency. Candidate should possess a good English communication skill to coordinate and communicate his work effectively with various stakeholders across globe.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop backend of a web applications for business flow automation e.g. model inventory
• Accountable for the workflow and data in database with respect to the application
• Ensure permission checks & security aspect of the underlying application
• Manage and be accountable for the underlying libraries and their associated functionality
• Collaborate with other team in managing the release and testing of the underlying code for the application as per set standards

Your skills and experience

• At least 5 years of professional, modular and efficient Python programming
• REST API development and knowledge of Flask framework
• Good concept of data structures (stacks, queues) and algorithms
• Good knowledge of relational database queries (Oracle SQL, MySQL)
• Good attitude and collaborative work culture
