Your key responsibilities
- Execution of Records Management and Data Quality Issue remediation deliveries, ensuring effective implementation of bank‑wide data and records policies across the IB division.
- Provide expert guidance on Data Quality Issue remediation and Records Management processes, policies, retention practices, and lifecycle management.
- Maintain and oversee the Records Inventory, including regular reviews, attestations, and disposal activities with appropriate approvals and evidence.
- Manage data quality issues from identification through remediation, defining key metrics, implementing controls, and reporting progress to governance forums.
- Manage divisional KoDs linked to Data Quality Issue remediation, BIRO and GDPR, ensuring KRI tracking, control, and timely resolution of issues.
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and GDPR requirements related to Personal Data.
- Design and build automated, scalable solutions, including required applications and libraries.
- Address regulatory, external, and internal findings, engaging with stakeholders and challenging business practices when needed.
- Coordinate with business, operations, and technology teams to investigate and resolve data quality and records issues.
- Commitment to ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
Your skills and experience
- Experience in Records/Data roles or as a Business Functional Analyst, ideally in financial services; exposure to risk, finance, audit, or technology functions is beneficial.
- Knowledge of records lifecycle management, records governance, and retention practices including managing compliance with Records Management policies and maturity targets (e.g., ECOM, Voice).
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional issue resolution including assessing impact, building cross-divisional relationships, co-ordinating deliveries and driving resolution of complex business and functional requirements.
- Understanding of data quality, governance, data lifecycle, and analytical/root‑cause investigation across systems and flows.
- Familiarity with data governance and quality tools (e.g., Collibra) and banking data domains is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, taking full ownership of deliverables.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, effective at all organisational levels, and the ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
- Appropriate understanding and exposure to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
