Senior Associate - NVOCC Operations - Global Service Centre

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

For Import Documentation 

 

• Receive the data of freight and cargo manifest from the load port.
• Data quality checks and edits data as per local requirements.
• Prepare Import IGM /IAL and submit before vessel arrival as per deadline.
• Ensure all compliances are met before submitting IGM.
• Sending arrival notice to customers before arrival of the vsl also informing the same to icd location.
• Submitting SMTP file to terminal & surveyor for arranging rail movement.
• Sending Loaded & Empty containers enblock movement to cfs before vsl arriving.
• Follow-up with the cfs. empty park on above enblock movement withing stipulated time frame  
• Check the B/L data with the Manifest and for the correct endorsements.

 

Apart from the duties and responsibilities listed above, any other additional duties as advised by the management from time to time.

 

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Ensure BL draft are sent within 3 hours of receipt of shipping instructions.
2. Ensure Draft corrections are amended, and revised draft sent within 1 hour of receipt of corrections.
3. Manifest to be finalized within 48 hours of vessel sailing.
4. Ensure min of 98% of shipping instructions are processed through portal.

1. Check Lists and Monitoring mechanism for Supervision & Control
2. Bills of Lading not released for Containers picked up for stuffing.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

Educational Qualification(s):

 

Graduate 

Prior Experience:2-5 years Skills & Personal Attributes

Good communication, and should lead the team to achieve the target
