Job Description

The candidate shall be a management/ engineering background with experience in consulting/business research/strategy.
The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience either in a big 4 or similar consulting firm or with OEMs/Auto-component manufacturers.
Canditates with exposure to Comemrcial vehicle and Auto component Industry in India will be preferred.
The candidates will work with private as well as government clients advising them on their business segments, private clients will include OEMs, auto component makers, Banks.NBFCs etc. while government/multilateral clients can include government departments/PSUs, multilateral agencies and think tanks.
The role will involve anchoring execution of mandates end to end, including execution of the Research and Analysis, co-ordination within teams, Formulation of solutions/recommendations for the problem statements as well as liasoning with the client in all matters of execution.
Canditates are expected to exhibit a sense of ownership towards the projects they are assigned to lead and are expected to drive the closure of the project. In this regard the candiates are expected to be able to handle internal and external stakeholders/clients with the obnjective of succcesful completion of the consulting mandates/projects they are assigned.

Work independently / in a team on consulting projects/ assignments; manage different aspects of assignment delivery including assignment quality, timelines, client management, client satisfaction / relationship, etc.
Role would involve working on strategic engagements of private sector clients including but not limited to manufacturing companies, Investors/Private equity players/Investment Banks, Financial Institutions, Government, Nodal Agencies and Multilateral funded projects. Inter alia, work on market assessment, business strategy, policy work, regulatory aspects, financial models, business plans, project management and market research
Ability to work across clients and travel for work whenever required both from execution as well as business development perspective. Be open to work on assignments across locations in India and abroad. This would imply a willingness to travel and at times be stationed for a few days at client site depending on the requirements of the assignment.
Should be well versed in any of the mobility segments (passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers, tractors, construction equipment, automotive components, electric vehicles ; knowledge of defense / capital goods industry would be an added advantage)
Be open to working on assignments unrelated to current domain strengths in the analytical capacity, simultaneously building knowledge / skills in such new areas.
Support in franchise outreach activities by writing articles, in-house research, working on business development proposals and pitch decks / co-ordination
The role would entail the preparation and development of reports and presentations that outlines a comprehensive approach and solution to the client's problem statement.
Support the Manager/Director in business reach out, preparing strategic pitch presentations, internal business plan and strategy discussion and regular tracking of parameters impacting business
Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for the organization with an existing client
Provide assistance in internal initiatives
