Sr. Facility Executive – Work Dynamics (India, West)

A Senior Facility Executive is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing comprehensive facility management operations across multiple sites or large-scale facilities, with both hard and soft services under their purview.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning Develops and implements facility management strategies aligned with organizational objectives, leads long-term facility planning and space optimization initiatives, and manages multi-site facility portfolios. The role involves creating facility standards and best practices, conducting facility assessments and feasibility studies.

Operations Management Oversees both hard services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural maintenance) and soft services (cleaning, catering, landscaping, hotel booking) across the facility portfolio. Senior executives ensure operational excellence through performance monitoring, implement preventive maintenance programs, and manage emergency response procedures. They coordinate with building engineers and maintenance teams while ensuring business continuity.

Financial Management & Budgeting Manages substantial facility budgets, and conducts cost-benefit analyses , utility management and energy efficiency programs.

Team Leadership & Development Leads teams of facility executives , and support staff, provides mentoring and professional development opportunities, and manages performance reviews and goal setting. Senior executives often oversee hiring and succession planning for facility management roles while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management Manages relationships with major service providers and contractors, negotiates enterprise-level contracts and service agreements, and conducts strategic vendor reviews and selections. The role involves collaboration with senior leadership, IT, HR, and other departments, plus liaison with building owners, property managers.

Risk Management & Compliance Ensures compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, manages facility-related risk assessments and mitigation strategies, . Senior executives maintain regulatory documentation and coordinate with legal teams on facility-related matters.

Technology & Innovation Leadership Champions digital transformation in facility management through IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management Systems) implementation, IoT and smart building technologies, and data analytics for facility optimization. The role includes evaluating emerging technologies and their application to facility operations.
