Job Description
Senior Manager-Scheduler
| Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar). |
| Coordinate with project teams to gather information on scope, timelines, milestones, and resources. |
| Monitor progress against baseline schedules and update schedules regularly to reflect current status. |
| Identify potential schedule delays and work with the team to develop mitigation strategies. |
| Prepare and present schedule updates and reports to management and clients. |
| Analyze project timelines to determine critical paths, dependencies, and float times. |
| Assist in developing recovery plans during schedule slippages or disruptions. |
| Ensure all scheduling activities are in compliance with contractual obligations and company policies. |
| Support in resource planning and allocation across multiple projects. |
| Communicate regularly with all stakeholders to ensure schedule alignment and transparency. |
| Proven experience as a scheduler in the construction industry (10+ years preferred). |
| Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent). |
| Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project lifecycle. |
| Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. |
| Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. |
| Effective communication and interpersonal skills. |
| Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. |
