Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior Principal Engineer- Instrumentation, reporting directly to HOD – Instrumentation to join our Instrumentation Engineering team based in Mumbai.

 

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee and manage the responsibilities below. 

Candidate with over 12 to 16 years of experience in Instrumentation Detailed Engineering. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) including Instrument Index, Specification, Wiring, Loop Drawings, Data Sheets, Material Requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Tabulations (TBT), Purchase Requisitions (PR), and Vendor Data Reviews (VDR) for various instrumentation components. 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Languages: English (Fluent)

Main skills:

• Total Experience in Instrumentation Detailed Engineering from 12+ years.
• SPI – Instrument Index, Datasheets, Cable Schedule, Wiring, Hook up Assignment, Loop drawings
• Preparation of Data Sheet, MR, TBT, PR, VDR – Control Valves, On-Off Valves, PSV, Inline Flow Meters, Transmitters, Level Instruments like Guided Wave RADAR, Nucleonic, Ultrasonic, Capacitance type, Local Instruments & Gauges, Inst Bulk items etc.
• Data Sheet, MR, TBT, PR, VDR and system architecture of DCS, ESD, FGS System
• Instrument Level Sketches, Process/Pneumatic Hook-Ups, Instrument Loop drawings
• Interlock Logic Diagrams, Functional Schematic Diagrams.
• Preparation of Design deliverables like Cable Schedule, JB schedule, Wiring drawings. 
• Review of Cable Routing Layout, Instrument Layout, Installation drawings and providing inputs as per project requirements. 
• Knowledge of Telecom systems like CCTV, Access Control etc. will be added advantage. 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

BE/ B.Tech - Electronics/Instrumentation, with 12-16 years of relevant industry experience.
