Senior Producer - Programming, Sports

About the role:

JioStar is looking for a dynamic, high-energy Senior Producer to join our sports programming team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a deep-rooted passion for cricket and a proven track record in live sports broadcasting.

As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of both Live PCR operations and surround programming to build properties across TV, digital and social platforms. You will act as a pivotal bridge between creative vision and technical execution, ensuring that our coverage remains world-class, engaging, and innovative.

What will you do?

  • Conceptualise, create, and execute live run orders and TV scripts.
  • Manage live panel production, including news and people-led shows.
  • Deliver platform-agnostic content across television and digital.
  • Liaise with external talent and agencies for development and curation of properties.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to delivery within tight deadlines and budgets.
  • Explore and apply new technologies to enhance storytelling, themes, and processes.

    • Who should apply for this role?

  • 5+ years experience in live panel production for news and people-led shows.
  • Basic working knowledge of editing systems such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Ability to conceptualise and execute live run orders and TV scripts.
  • Ability to type in Hindi is a non-negotiable.
  • Strong understanding of cricket and a genuine passion for the sport.
