Role summary

SRA – ESG Ratings

The recruit will be responsible for ESG rating of listed Indian companies. Strong experience of working with companies in the areas ESG ratings or sustainability/climate change is desirable  

Job requirements

• Good understanding of ESG principles, climate risks, global ESG reporting standards and key issues impacting sustainable finance, and governance frameworks
• In-depth understanding on non-financial disclosure standards in India including BRSR and globally
• Continuous tracking and updating understanding on evolving trends in ESG disclosures, sustainable finance, competing ESG assessments
• The candidate should have an experience in handling Sustainability/ ESG assignments/projects in ratings/strategy/consulting domain
• Ability to create detailed reports and benchmarks across multiple sectors on ESG indicators and linking the same to operating and financial metrics
• Client interactions showcasing analytical output and presentations to internal committees

Experience

3-8 years

Qualification

MBA or CA with sustainability/ESG linked certifications are preferred

Skills

• Experience of working on ESG ratings or sustainability assignments coupled with strong analytical acumen
• Ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders/clients
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with peers despite tight deadlines
• Ability to think out of the box and come out with innovative solutions/ideas
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills. Ability to structure and write high-quality reports
• Sound excel, technology, automation and AI skills are preferred
• Collaboration with other internal teams focused on ESG and sustainability
