Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Understand requirements in detail and analyze functional specifications.

• Design test cases based on requirements , including both positive and negative scenarios .

• Ensure comprehensive and exhaustive test coverage around the requirements.

• Prepare Scope of Testing and Scope of Change documents .

• Create test case mapping documents aligned with the scope of testing.

• Request and prepare relevant test data required for execution.

• Execute test cases and validate application functionality.

• Maintain pass/fail trackers and monitor testing progress.

• Collect and store test evidence in an accessible location.

• Maintain proper documentation hygiene and content quality .

• Ensure high-quality testing standards throughout the process.

• Coordinate with developers to ensure timely bug fixes .

• Maintain and update testing details in JIRA .

• Provide quick support during project go-lives .

• Demonstrate quick learning ability and strong ownership of testing activities .

• Banking domain knowledge is preferred .

• Graduate in any stream .
