We are looking for a technically sharp, intellectually curious Solutions Consultant who thrives at the intersection of quantitative finance, AI innovation, and client engagement. You are equally comfortable building a prototype analytical workflow and engaging at the most senior levels of client organizations — turning complex problems into elegant, data-driven solutions.

What You'll Do

Own the Quant & AI Agenda: You will be our subject matter expert on quantitative analytics, machine learning in finance, and AI-powered workflows. You will guide clients on best practices across pricing, risk, portfolio construction, and alpha generation.

Prototype and Build: You will create proof-of-concepts, analytical demos, and AI-assisted workflows using LSEG's data and analytics APIs. We encourage you to use Python, LLMs, and LSEG's MCP tooling to rapidly turn client problems into working solutions.

Translate and Communicate: We need someone who can connect complex quantitative models with business stakeholders — transforming sophisticated analytics into clear narratives and visual outputs that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Innovate with AI: You will spot opportunities to embed AI and large language model capabilities into client workflows — including agentic analytics, natural language interfaces to financial data, and automated reporting pipelines.

Collaborate and Co-Create: We work closely together — you will partner with solution sellers, product managers, and quant researchers to design solutions that draw on LSEG's full data and analytics offering.

Facilitate Client Discovery: You will lead workshops and ideation sessions to surface unmet analytical needs, co-create solution roadmaps, and identify growth opportunities for our clients and our business.

Lead Engagements End-to-End: You will own the full lifecycle of client consulting engagements — from requirements gathering and solution design through delivery, documentation, and handoff.

Drive Presales and Bespoke Development: You will support the presales lifecycle — from discovery and solution design through proof-of-concept delivery and commercial closure — while leading bespoke engagements where custom analytical or AI-powered solutions are built to meet specific client needs.

Respond Quickly: We move fast. You will meet client needs with creativity and urgency, proposing solutions that deliver tangible, measurable value.

Win Together on RFPs and RFIs: You will contribute quantitative and AI-specific content to proposals, helping us respond to client tenders with precision and commercial awareness.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science; CFA, CQF, or equivalent certification preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in financial technology, quantitative research, or analytics consulting.

• Strong foundation in quantitative finance, including pricing models across Fixed Income, FX, Equity, and Derivatives.

• Hands-on experience applying machine learning and AI in finance — including NLP, time series forecasting, classification models, and generative AI tools.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or LangChain.

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks, and hands-on exposure to building AI agents and skills, is preferred.

• Proven experience building and delivering analytical proof-of-concepts in client-facing settings.

• Strong data intuition — you can find signal in noisy financial datasets and communicate findings with confidence.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage audiences from trading desks to the C-suite.

• At least one successfully delivered end-to-end analytics or AI solution in a consulting or presales context.
