Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced South Indian Cook who specializes in preparing authentic South Indian dishes. The candidate should have good knowledge of traditional recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, sambar, rasam, chutneys, biryani, and curries
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Monitor food stock and inform management about shortages
• Follow food safety standards and kitchen policies
• Manage tandoor/griddle/gas stoves efficiently (if applicable)
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
• Ensure timely preparation and service of food
• Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a South Indian Cook
• Knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and spices
• Ability to prepare batter and manage fermentation process
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Time management and teamwork skills
• Experience:Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel/restaurant/catering services
