We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insurance Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai – Powai Office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Specialist – Insurance Operations (Grade C1)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing processing tasks within various operational frameworks based on the training provided. You are expected to meet SLAs, KPIs, and business objectives, adhere to company policies, and maintain performance and quality standards during both training and business-as-usual activities. Timely completion of all assigned work and training is essential. You should be proficient in utilizing technology to reduce manual tasks and enhance efficiency. Additionally, you must be effective in engaging with relevant stakeholders as required. Prompt communication of work status or issues to managers is necessary, along with strict adherence to schedules without unplanned leave. Willingness to work shifts from either 12 pm to 9 pm or 1 pm to 10 pm is also required.

We will count on you to:

• Develop self to have a good understanding of the process
• Undertake processing tasks within the various operational framework basis the training provided
• Produce accurate client documentation associated with the respective processes
• Delivery on performance as per company standards and continuous rigor on improving business performance
• Review operational and quality failures, conduct root cause analysis & monitor plan to ensure success
• Use and optimise technology to eradicate routine manual work where possible
• Engage with all relevant stakeholders as and when required to meet client requirement

What you need to have: 

• Process knowledge of broking business and insurance terminologies
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks during peak volume periods
• Collaborative mindset across levels and teams
• Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word)
• Decision making and Problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Good relationship skills, Proven ability to work on functional initiatives
• Prior 3-5 years of work experience
• Graduate in any stream
• Good command over spoken and written English
• Superior comprehension and articulation skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, work within stiff timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in both the shifts: 12 pm to 9 pm or 1 pm to 10 pm shift
