The Business Manager – WBG Strategy will be a key member of the Wholesale Banking Group’s Strategy Team, responsible for supporting strategic planning, execution, and monitoring across various business segments and products. The role involves close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence with the following key responsibilities:

1. Strategy Formulation & Monitoring:
   Collaborate with Business Heads across WBG to formulate and monitor strategic plans aimed at enhancing growth and profitability across segments and products.
2. Data Analysis & Insights:
   Analyze business MIS and performance metrics to generate actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making.
3. Leadership Support:
   Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and strategic materials for senior leadership at both WBG and Bank level, enabling effective business reviews and planning.
4. External Communication:
   Assist Business Heads in preparing and managing external communications, including client events, media interactions, and regulatory engagements.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., MD/ED office, compliance, legal, other Kotak Group businesses) and external partners (e.g., consulting firms) to ensure alignment and smooth execution of strategic initiatives.

 

Skills & Competencies:

1. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or related field.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
3. Excellent communication and presentation abilities 
4. High proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools 
5. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a matrixed environment
6. Strong business acumen and understanding of banking products and segments
