What would you do? Manage planning, procurement, distribution and aftermarket service supply chain operations, helping clients realize $5 for every $1 spent on our services Responsible for delivering various Supply Chain initiatives majorly focused on Planning, exception management & inventory management. Implement systems to support the demand and supply planning process by providing planners with automated tools to access and analyze data captured throughout the supply chain.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or related field (MBA or post-graduate degree is a plus) • 8-12 years of experience managing global demand planning or integrated business planning (IBP) functions in Retail, CPG, or similar industries. • Working knowledge of statistical forecasting and demand modeling. • Hands-on experience with planning tools (SAP APO, Kinaxis, O9, etc.). • Ability to collaborate across functions and resolve operational issues. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret complex data and translate into actionable insights. • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in planning processes. • Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional and executive-level interactions. • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment • Solid multi-phase project management skills • Working knowledge of forecasting and demand modeling. • Exposure to planning processes (S&OP/IBP) and tools (SAP, Kinaxis, O9) • Familiarity with planning tools (SAP, Kinaxis, O9). • Awareness of automation tools (UiPath, Alteryx). • Understanding of inventory concepts like inventory optimization, replenishment algorithms. • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Language skills are a plus. (in Korean, Chinese, Japanese)
Roles and Responsibilities: • • Demand Planning Execution: Support the end-to-end demand planning process by preparing statistical forecasts, validating historical data, and ensuring accuracy of demand signals. Assist in consolidating inputs from sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to create a reliable forecast baseline. • Forecasting & Analysis: Utilize advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, O9) to maintain and update forecasts. Conduct variance analysis to identify gaps between actuals and forecasts, highlight trends, and provide actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy. Support scenario planning for promotional events or new product launches. • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain planning-related master data (product codes, customer hierarchies, location details) and ensure timely updates across systems. Develop and refresh dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to provide visibility into forecast performance, inventory levels, and key KPIs. • S&OP Support: Assist in the monthly S&OP cycle by preparing pre-meeting data packs, updating scenario models, and tracking action items. Ensure timely communication of forecast changes and support alignment between demand, supply, and finance teams. • Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels and safety stock parameters, providing inputs for replenishment planning. Support analysis of stock-outs, excess inventory, and service level performance to recommend corrective actions. • Exception Handling: Identify forecast deviations and demand-supply mismatches through exception reports. Perform root-cause analysis for significant variances and escalate issues to Associate Manager or Manager for resolution. • Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives such as automation of reporting, streamlining data flows, and reducing manual interventions. Contribute ideas for improving forecast accuracy and planning efficiency. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment of demand plans with business objectives. Provide timely updates and insights to stakeholders. • Learning & Development: Stay updated on planning tools, methodologies, and industry best practices. Actively participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance technical and analytical capabilities.
