What would you do? Accenture is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Operations Specialist – Global Network & Planning & Optimization with strong expertise in building, maintaining, and optimizing the supply chain network and planning parameters under established governance, ensuring alignment with business-defined rules, while leveraging ERP and advanced planning platforms including SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP), o9, and SAP FRICE. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Network, Distribution & Deployment •Design and maintain supply chain network models aligned with business rules. •Manage rule frameworks for distribution and deployment. •Ensure accuracy and execution readiness of planning outputs. •Lead analysis and execution support for network changes, including DC migrations, lane changes, and redesigns. •Assess planning impacts and support transition activities. Planning Parameters, Safety Stock & Inventory Governance •Maintain planning parameters for end-to-end distribution and deployment. •Execute planned and ad hoc safety stock updates in planning systems. •Monitor and adjust safety stock to meet policies and service targets. •Perform monthly safety stock refreshes with data extraction and validation. •Ensure safety stock aligns with inventory, service, and deployment goals. Simulation, Scenario & Impact Analysis •Perform simulations and impact analyses for approved changes to planning parameters and safety stock. •Analyze impacts on fill rate, inventory investment, and deployment performance. •Conduct multi-echelon simulations to assess service and fill-rate implications of policy changes. •Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support governance decisions. Reporting, Monitoring & Planning Governance •Create and maintain safety stock and fill-rate reports. •Generate and validate key SNP and post-run planning reports. •Prepare reporting for monthly safety stock refreshes and reviews. •Support planning performance reviews and corrective actions. •Develop SAP FRICE objects per functional specifications. ERP Execution & System Operations •Execute planning and operational activities across SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP), and next-generation platforms. •Validate standard and custom reports to ensure planning quality, data integrity, and transactional accuracy. •Partner with governance and data stewardship forums to implement approved data and parameter changes. •Support deployment execution readiness through system validation and exception resolution.
What are we looking for? Data Analysis & Validation • Perform ad hoc analysis using SQL, SAP, and Excel. • Resolve data, parameter, and transaction issues through root cause analysis. • Align distribution and deployment objectives with stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into system rules and planning configurations. • Provide recommendations and support governance during disruptions. Business Collaboration & Advisory • Align business requirements with system rules, planning parameters, and network configurations. • Provide data-driven recommendations and support governance during planning changes. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required. • 8-12 years of experience leading global demand planning or integrated business planning (IBP) functions in Retail, CPG, or similar industries. • Proven track record on working with various planning systems (O9, SAP, APO, Kinaxis, etc.). • Experience leading, engaging and inspiring large teams of motivated individuals to achieve excellence in all aspects of operations. • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes. • Experience in multi-echelon supply chain environments. • Experience in FMCG or Cosmetics industry environments with complex distribution networks. • Proficient in SAP query development and data analysis using SQL and Excel to support validation, troubleshooting, reporting, and reconciliation. Preferred Qualifications • MBA or relevant post-graduate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Science, or related field • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC, SAP APO (SNP) & SAP FRICE • Exposure to modern planning platforms such as o9 Solutions (preferred). • Strong understanding of SAP master data driving planning and deployment. • Advanced capability in writing SAP queries for validation and troubleshooting. • Strong working knowledge of SQL and Excel for analysis, reporting, and reconciliation. Soft & Personal Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to reason through complex supply chain scenarios. • Strong ownership mindset as custodian of planning results. • Ability to clearly communicate scenario outcomes and trade-offs to business stakeholders. • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across run-the-business and project-based environments. • Team leadership for small workstreams; ability to mentor analysts and coordinate cross-functional tasks.
