TBM Operator

• 1. Operate the TBM safely and efficiently, ensuring smooth progress throughout the tunnelling cycle.
• 2. Monitor TBM performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain correct tunnel alignment and achieve production targets.
• 3. Oversee key TBM functions such as cutterhead rotation, thrust, grouting, and muck evacuation.
• 4. Identify and report mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to project schedules.
• 5. Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to resolve operational challenges and maintain continuous TBM performance.
• 6. Provide regular updates on tunnelling progress, machine health, and any factors affecting daily advance.
• 7. Support training and guidance of junior operators and team members to ensure safe and effective operations.
• 8. Maintain strict compliance with project safety standards and operational protocols throughout tunnelling activities.
• 9. Apply hands-on experience in TBM and tunnelling operations, including working in confined underground environments.
