Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the smelting operations in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize smelting processes for maximum efficiency and output
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of smelting operations with upstream and downstream processes
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
• Drive initiatives for cost optimization, waste reduction, and energy efficiency within the smelting operations
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of technology and equipment for smelting and FGD processes
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance overall efficiency
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience in the Copper Business industry
• Proven track record of leadership and management in a smelting environment
• Demonstrated experience in Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) process
• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
