Job Purpose: The Job purpose of a Shift Incharge - Printing in solar manufacturing is to manage and enhance printing operations for solar cell production, ensuring quality output, operational efficiency, and safety compliance while leading a team to achieve production goals.
Specialization in Print line:
- Provide expert management of Print line processes, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of Print line equipment for solar cell production.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of Print line machines. Ensure adherence to maintenance protocols and best practices.
Breakdown Management:
- Lead the response to major equipment breakdowns, coordinating quick and effective repairs to minimize production disruption. Analyze breakdowns to prevent future occurrences.
RCA (Root Cause Analysis):
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis of equipment failures and process issues. Implement corrective actions based on findings to improve machine reliability and performance.
Spare Parts Planning:
- Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements. Collaborate with shift engineers and spare part manager to align inventory levels with operational needs.
Machine Uptime:
- Focus on maximizing machine uptime by overseeing effective maintenance practices, troubleshooting issues promptly, and ensuring that Print line equipment operates at peak efficiency.
Specialized Tools Knowledge:
- Utilize advanced tools and software for monitoring and maintaining Print line equipment. Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in Print line processes.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the Print line maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective operation and professional development.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all Print line operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and specifications in Print line operations for consistent solar cell performance.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
Work Experience (Range of years):
- 8-12 Years of managerial experience in managing printing lines for solar cell production, including strategic planning, process optimization, and quality management.
