Assistant Manager - Cell Maintenance

Responsibilities

Spare Parts Management:

• Oversee the inventory and procurement of spare parts across clusters. Ensure the availability of critical components, consumable components while managing stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages. To raise the claims of FOC replacement of under warranty spares.

Cost Management:

• Develop and manage the budget for spare parts and maintenance-related expenses. Monitor and control costs, aiming to optimize spending while ensuring effective resource utilization.

Demand Forecasting:

• Analyze historical data and predict future spare parts requirements. Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to align inventory levels with operational needs.

Vendor Management:

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of spare parts. Negotiate terms and prices to ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery of components.

Inventory Management:

• Optimize spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities and minimize downtime.

AMC Management:

• Develop and manage AMCs for outsource services and calibration services.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):

• Support in implementation of CAPA by procuring specialized part (As per outcome of CAPA).

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure spare parts meet quality standards through inspections and quality checks.

Key Stakeholders - Internal:

• Shift Engineers within the Cell Maintenance cluster
• Maintenance Technicians and Engineers
• Production Supervisors

Key Stakeholders - External:

• Equipment Suppliers
• Maintenance Contractors
• Regulatory Agencies

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

• 8-12 Years of managerial experience in spare parts management within the solar manufacturing industry, focusing on inventory optimization, procurement strategies, and ensuring operational readiness.
