Assistant Manager - Logistics

Responsibilities

1   Coordination with stake holders for physical movements of goods in shifts 
2   Production, Marketing, PPC, Quality, Accounts and with External – Transporters, Customers etc.
3   Operational – Daily dispatch planning, review of previous day’s plan
4   Inwards movements (rejections, accidents, Job works etc. 
5   Checking of compliance adherence for vehicles, transaction like e-way etc. 
6   Inventory Management – coordination with PPC, production for material allocations, gradation, 
and quantity through QC. 
7   Truck planning – Issue of TMS plans to transporter, Raise SPOT bids, lane creation, freight   entries for new 
destinations. Multiple point planning/ new destinations Bidding. 
8   Ensure to maintain overall TAT of all copper vehicles, safety /SOP adherences. 
9   Financial controls – Cost control on account of dead freight, multiple / new point deliveries, 
timely dispatch as per plan, OTIF, TAT, vendor freight bills / others clearances 
10   Vendor / Transporters performance review in each quarter. 

Qualifications

Bachelors/ Master degree in supply chain/ logistics/ commerce

3+ years of relevant experience in logistics function

Copper experience would be an added advantage

MS Excel & SAP hands on experience is must.
