Job Purpose: The R&D Engineer - Cluster - Module Technology is responsible for initiating and leading trials for new products and processes in module technology, focusing on design, material selection, and manufacturing methods. This role includes planning and executing Design of Experiments (DOE), analyzing trial data, driving continuous improvement and innovation, conducting market analysis, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
New Product and Process Trials:
- Lead trials for new module technologies, focusing on design, material selection, and manufacturing methods. Optimize process recipes for efficient and reliable module designs.
Design of Experiments (DOE) Planning:
- Plan and execute DOE for new trials, capturing key performance indicators such as CTQ and SPV. Use statistical tools like JMP and Minitab for effective data analysis.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Analyze trial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Summarize results and provide actionable insights in reports for management review.
Market Analysis and Competitive Benchmarking:
- Track industry trends and benchmark competitor products. Develop new products based on market demand and technology advancements.
Technology Transfer and Scale-Up:
- Facilitate the transition of new technologies from R&D to large-scale manufacturing, ensuring smooth integration into production lines.
Product Reliability and Performance Enhancement:
- Ensure ongoing improvements in module reliability and performance by refining designs and addressing issues found during testing and production.
Training and Development:
- Provide training sessions and workshops for team members on techniques and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Digitalization/Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Implementing digital tools and technologies to optimize operations and enhance data-driven decision-making in daily activities.
Organizational & Culture Building:
- Promoting collaboration, agility, and continuous learning, aligning team efforts with company values and growth goals.
Leadership in Change Management:
- Guiding teams through technological changes and process updates, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems.
People Development:

Educational Qualification:
- M.Tech or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
