Assistant Manager - Process

Job Purpose: The Lead - Module Process looks after overall process control activities, Defect reduction analysis and Process Excellence tasks including alternate vendor development. Focus on process control, resource optimization, safety compliance, process improvement, and effective communication with stakeholders to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
Process Management:
- Responsible for Front end and Back end process functioning, analysis and process excellence activities. Responsible for customer satisfaction through providing the test results and reports. Weekly and monthly review of troubleshooting activities of all critical machine functioning in terms of process control and various trials and process excellence activities.
Resource Allocation:
- Allocate resources including equipment, materials, and personnel effectively to optimize process functioning.
Process Control:
- Implement and oversee process control measures to ensure solar panel meets quality standards and specifications.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and support managers, engineers and technicians involved in all CTQ process testing and troubleshooting work.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements for a safe work environment.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, defect reduction, alternate vendor development, new technology updated and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Review and approve documents, records, reports on process metrics, and communicate with stakeholders.
People Development:
- Leading from the front & being accountable for the professional growth of your teams. Developing/conducting/promoting training & learning initiatives to enhance skills & empowering them to take ownership of key processes and decisions.
Innovation:
- Driving continuous improvement within the department by leading R&D initiatives to develop advanced solutions, enhancing module processes for greater efficiency and performance. Identifying emerging trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge and ensure process-level innovation.
Digitalization/Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Overseeing the adoption and implementation of digital tools, automation solutions, and smart technologies within the department to optimize module workflows. Leveraging data analytics to monitor key performance indicators, enable informed decision-making, and drive operational excellence.
Organizational & Culture Building:
- Fostering a collaborative and agile culture within the department that aligns with company values and operational objectives. Encouraging cross-functional teamwork to ensure efficient execution of module processes and drive organizational growth and employee engagement.
Leadership in Change Management:
- Leading effective change management initiatives within the department to support seamless adoption of new systems, technologies, and processes. Ensuring smooth transitions by developing structured plans, addressing challenges, and securing buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in engineering, management, or related field.
Work Experience (Range of years):
- 8-12 Years of experience in leading overall process function within a solar manufacturing cluster.
