Assistant Manager - Projects

Ensure all relevant and latest documents are available to customers and internal stakeholders.
Monitor comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and milestones.
Coordinate with customers, engineering, planning, quality, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of on-site activities.
Track daily work progress to meet contractual performance requirements.
Monitor tools and equipment supplied to the customer, ensuring calibration is current.
Oversee on-site quality assurance activities including foundation work, erection, and commissioning, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to quality standards.
Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and oversee resource allocation and procurement.
Identify and mitigate risks related to project execution.
Maintain records and prepare progress reports on project activities.
Ensure materials and services are cleared by the customer, with documentation aligned to contractual milestones.
Verify and share all documents required for erection and commissioning of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs).
Monitor long-term storage management of WTG components.
Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for WTG project execution.
Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Provide training to customer representatives and contractors on loading/unloading, storage, and erection of WTG components.
Ensure project documentation is complete and properly preserved.
Resolve site-related erection and commissioning issues within stipulated timelines.
Ensure all work is executed as per ANIL SOPs and quality standards.
Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process checks, and mechanical completion.
Ensure incoming materials and processes meet specifications as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), and get them cleared by the customer.
Maintain detailed inspection records, noting deviations or defects to ensure traceability and quality control.
Communicate identified defects promptly and collaborate on corrective actions for timely resolution.
Verify that processes meet specification requirements and oversee installation stages to uphold quality standards.
Enforce protocols for process compliance and maintain all quality documentation.
Analyze customer concerns related to quality, identify root causes, and collaborate on preventive solutions.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections and production activities.
Conduct inspections and Handing Over-Taking Over (HOTO) procedures.
Visit project sites as required to support execution and quality assurance.

Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
7 to 10 year experience in wind farm Project Quality Management
