Assistant Manager - Projects
Responsibilities
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:-
a) Preparation of detailed schedule of works with detailing of activities in-line with original plan and in discussion with Planning Team and implementation of activity schedule on field.
b) Preparation of detailed schedule of works with front wise detailing of activities in-line with original plan and in discussion with Planning Head and implementation of the schedule on field
c) Monitoring progress of work (MIS) with reference to the schedule, identify gaps, mitigate the gaps to meet the timelines and quality aspects.
d) Ensure execution through highest standards of HSE/Quality as per detailed drawings and specifications.
i) Flagging out the issues in advance related to site and contractor as appropriate which need management intervention.
j) Envisage any kind of execution risk related to timeline, cost overrun etc., appraise HOD and propose solutions to mitigate the risk/s.
k) Coordination with all teams and stake holders on progress, pending issues and get solutions.
l) Execute works to the highest level of safety/quality standards and company HSE/Quality policy.
n) Ability to get work done from mobilized resources if main package vendor fails to perform.
o) Should be capable of taking independent decisions to achieve timely completion of project.
p) Coordination with Engineering Team and close drawings related issues if any.
r) Coordination with vendor team to clear supply and service related issues.
s) Coordination with Engineering team for BOQ RFQ & scope clarity issues.
t) Documentations including all IMIR reports, Quality protocols, Loop files, Handing over documents etc.
Operational Responsibilities:-
a) Implementation of company laid systems /processes at site including documentation of DPR, WPR, MPR, Reconciliation reports, Quality reports, safety reports, GRN’s etc.
b) Implementation of innovative construction methods, application of knowledge gained from the other similar facilities to reduce execution timelines and save cost.
c) Monitoring and follow up for deployment of resources for execution as per requirement including machinery, manpower, materials, etc. and provide healthy work environment at site.
d) Sound knowledge of Construction and construction resource functioning, throughout and resource optimization.

· In-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment’s, metallic/nonmetallic piping, structural fabrication erection, construction methodologies, erection techniques, inspection, testing and assistance in commissioning activities.
· Familiarity with relevant codes, standards and regulations governing mechanical erection in the renewable energy sector
· Experience in managing mid/large-scale projects with a focus on quality, safety and schedule.

· Strong managerial and leadership skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment’s, metallic/nonmetallic piping, structural fabrication erection, construction methodologies, erection techniques, inspection, testing and assistance in commissioning activities

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial projects
