Job Purpose: Responsible for maximizing the sales and revenue of assigned products, mapping the market and trade flow for effective decision making, creating pricing strategy, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders for technical, commercial, and regulatory acceptance of the assigned product. Additionally, the candidate will lead the technical development of the assigned products and build a comprehensive product and market development plan in line with the organizational growth plan.
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end sales operations process to ensure timely and accurate order processing, invoicing, and delivery coordination in line with customer and internal requirements.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to translate sales targets into actionable backend processes and ensure alignment with production and supply chain schedules.
- Maintain and analyze sales data, prepare comprehensive sales reports, and generate insights to support decision-making and sales forecasting.
- Implement and continuously improve sales operational workflows, leveraging technology and process automation to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
- Drive effective communication and coordination between sales, logistics, finance, and customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies, delivery delays, and billing issues promptly.
- Support contract management by ensuring proper documentation, adherence to compliance standards, and timely renewals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operations and identify areas of improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to sales, trade, and export-import processes.
- Assist in budget preparation for sales operations and monitor expenditure to ensure cost efficiency.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth aligned with Adani’s values of collaboration and integrity.
- Engage actively in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at driving innovation and process improvements within the copper manufacturing sales ecosystem.
- Stay updated with market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to contribute to strategic sales planning and customer engagement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA will be preferred.
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in sales operations, preferably within the copper manufacturing or related metals industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholders.
- Result-oriented mindset with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach and adaptability to changing business environments.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities fostering motivation and collaboration.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP, Oracle) for sales order management and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, and VBA macros.
