Assistant Manager - Stockyard

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Managing all aspects of transportation, including route planning and carrier selection
  • Overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory management and quality control
  • Collaborating with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of precast materials
  • Tracking and analyzing key logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Leading and mentoring a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
  • 7-12 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the precast industry
