Assistant Manager - Stockyard
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Managing all aspects of transportation, including route planning and carrier selection
- Overseeing warehouse operations, including inventory management and quality control
- Collaborating with suppliers and distributors to ensure timely delivery of precast materials
- Tracking and analyzing key logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Leading and mentoring a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental goals
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
- 7-12 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the precast industry
