Job Purpose: The Cluster Manager -SQA&IQC - I&W Quality is responsible for overseeing the Safety, Quality Assurance, and Inspection processes across the organization. The role ensures that quality standards are consistently met, fosters a continuous improvement culture, and maintains safe operational practices. The Cluster Manager will ensure that all health, safety, quality, and supplier-related objectives are effectively implemented and monitored.

Health & Safety:

• Oversee health and safety compliance across multiple teams involved in ingot and wafer quality. Implement safety training programs and ensure all quality processes adhere to health and safety regulations.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Prevent line stoppages caused by quality issues and ensure timely RCA and countermeasures. Resolve complaints within the set timeframe and ensure no recurrence.

Business Excellence:

• Complete IMS documentation reviews and updates. Perform internal audits across departments with NC identification. Achieve zero major non-conformities in external IQC audits.

Continuous Improvement:

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging IQC associates to participate in at least two Quality Circle activities every six months.

5S Implementation:

• Implement the ACWMS-5S framework in IQC areas with the Business Excellence team by December 2024 to improve efficiency and safety.

Quality Control System:

• Implement SAP MIC system for BOM item reporting. Develop and implement a calibration system for measurement instruments at MSTL plant.

Supplier Quality Management:

• Conduct regular supplier audits for BOM items. Arrange weekly reviews with suppliers to ensure quality control and timely 8D resolution.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E or B.Tech degree in Materials/Chemical Engineering.

Work Experience (Range of years):

• 8-12 years in quality assurance in supply chain or focusing on incoming materials inspection.
