AVP - Mechanical

Responsibilities

Lead and manage Mechanical maintenance activities across the GPVC complex and drive to achieve maintenance excellence.                      

Develop Maintenance strategies to achieve production targets.                     

Ensure safe and accident free working environment, Ensure ZERO accident              

Coordination with stakeholders including operation, other engineering disciplines, Techno commerical, contractors, vendor, etc                       

Training & Development of Mechanical Team to develop their competencies and Sucession plan.                

Apprise the management w.r.t issues, risks, bottlenecks and provide forward path  to overcome limitations and mitigate risks.              

To assist in create, maintain and improve the maintenance team for plant area to achieve the team's objectives and continue to do so over time.                     

Accountable for Annual Plan & Budget of CAPEX and OPEX for Mechanical Maintenance activities across GPVC complex.                       

Responsible for Process Safety Management elements and procedures (Mechanical Integrity & Asset Reliability),  Contractor Safety Management System, Inspection recommendation.                

Achieve production plan by ensuring Equipment availability through effective Preventive Maintenance , Plant Turnaround , skilled manpower and availability of critical spares.                   

Continual improvement and cost optimization by introducing latest innovation and new method in Mechanical Maintenance.               

Achieve targeted short and long term asset reliability at optimal cost.                       

Inventory control and availability of critical spares, 2 Year spares and Insurance spares.                    

Ensure compliance to statutory requirements.                        

Benchmark the existing processes and ensure state of the art systems are implemented to be among the top quartile in the Industry.                       

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.                              

Experiences:                            

More than 25 years in managing large scale complex in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.                          

Proven track record in Mechanical Maintenance, Plant Turnaround, Planning, Troubleshooting and Team Management.                           

Should have experience in handling day-to-day multi plant maintenance and trouble-shooting, Industrial Safety , Safe work permit.                               

Should have deep understanding of a Petrochemical complex.                                   

Familiarization with various statutory and Environmental norms.                               

Strong understanding of maintenance, services, and applications.
