Buyer -Techno-Commercial

Responsibilities

· Material Planning, Sourcing & Vendor Development.

. Evaluation of vendors by facilitating the technical evaluation with user team and then select the vendors in most cost-effective manner and finalize the Contracts.

. Import Order Execution and coordination with CHA & FFs for material movement. EPCG related documentation working with Taxation team for Capital goods.

· Long term Business Associations.

. Preparation of ARCs for C Class items and Auto Ordering thru SAP Agreements

· Benchmarking the category performance across the industry and internally among other categories and remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts. Ensure procurement for the trading items as per production plans, including imports.

· Ensure the payment commitments with outside parties are met by coordinating   with finance and division coordinators.

· Issue resolution and complaint handling with internal customers as well as suppliers.

· Cost reduction and improvement of value Engineering

· Monitor commercial terms for CAPEX and finalization building and sustainability Capex.

· Price Negotiation and Price Variation Analysis.

· Project Budget, Preparation of Estimates & Tender Document Preparation.

· Actively participate in Digital Transformation journey for SCM ( e.g. E-Procurement, SAP & Ariba improvement etc. and Touchless Ordering)        

. Any other work assigned to you on time to time basis

Qualifications

BE/B-Tech/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering)
