Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The Construction Electrical Senior Team Member ensures the effective planning, execution, and coordination of electrical jobs for process units and off-site locations. They manage and oversee the implementation and commissioning of electrical systems, provide technical solutions, and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Construction Electrical Senior Team Member-PETCHEM
Site Operations & Oversight:
Ensure timely execution of electrical tasks by planning and coordinating electrical jobs, including cable laying, substation creation, and related activities.
Monitor and review progress on electrical job execution, ensuring tasks are completed according to defined timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate with site teams to address any issues and ensure smooth execution of electrical systems.
Project Planning & Coordination:
Assist in planning electrical systems for process units, including preparation of layouts and schedules.
Execute electrical jobs by assigning, monitoring, and controlling tasks for the execution team and contractors.
Support project planning efforts by preparing electrical load lists, schematic diagrams, and other necessary documentation.
Technical Design Review:
Provide technical inputs and support by reviewing electrical designs and drawings, including single line diagrams and wiring diagrams.
Conduct power system studies such as short circuit analysis, coordination studies, and equipment sizing calculations.
Ensure accuracy of technical specifications and compliance with project requirements through detailed reviews and adjustments.
Compliance, Quality & Safety Management:
Ensure quality and safety by monitoring adherence to safety standards and performing quality checks on electrical installations.
Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to confirm that electrical systems meet operational standards and project requirements.
Assist in implementing safety measures and ensuring compliance with safety regulations during all phases of electrical work.
Budget & Cost Control:
Assist in vendor management by identifying competent vendors, comparing technical specifications, and ensuring quality of materials.
Certify contractor bills and support the cost control department by reviewing and processing payments for electrical jobs.
Monitor and report on budget by managing material requisitions and controlling costs related to electrical tasks.
Team Management:
Support execution engineers by providing guidance and addressing challenges faced during electrical job execution.
Coordinate with contractors and team members to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality expectations.
Commissioning, Handover & Post-construction Support:
Assist in commissioning electrical systems by participating in pre-commissioning activities and ensuring successful handover to operational teams.
Support post-construction activities by ensuring all required documentation and operational requirements are met.

Educational Qualification:
Essential: Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
Work Experience (Range of years):
Minimum of 7-12 years in executing various electrical jobs in large/medium-scale industrial projects
Expertise in high, medium, and low voltage systems
Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External) and negotiating with large-scale, high-value vendors
Experience in preparing safe electrical work procedures and ensuring adherence
Compliance with statutory requirements for electrical installation
