Job Purpose: The Shift Engineer - Cluster - Excellence & Engineering Trials carries out process trials and alternate vendor development in the manufacturing line. Focus on Trial data and report preparation.

Process Control:

• Coordinating and conduction process trials and report preparation, sample preparations and analysis.

Responsible for report preparation and analysis of trials:

• Responsible for coordinating and conducting end to end procedures for alternate vendor development trials and various other process improvement trials.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations for a safe work environment.

Team Supervision and Training:

• Supervise shift technicians, provide guidance, and conduct training on equipment and procedures.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify major defects leading to downgrading and conduct analysis and improvement activities to improve the defect on line.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain process trial reports, report metrics, and document quality issues for analysis and improvement.

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in engineering or related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):

• Min 2-5 Years of experience in supervising and managing process excellence function in a solar manufacturing environment.
