Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The Construction Refractory Senior Team Member - PETCHEM is responsible for coordinating and ensuring high-quality execution of refractory activities in the Calcium Carbide and VCM units. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards, while optimizing resources and managing contractor performance to deliver defect-free, cost-effective, and timely results.

Construction Refractory Senior Team Member-PETCHEM

Project Coordination and Execution:

Achieve project milestones and minimize delays by executing day-to-day refractory activities as per established schedules.

Maintain efficient project progression by monitoring job progress, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions promptly.

Support seamless project execution by participating in TQR, TBR, and material requisitions and ensuring timely approvals.

Ensure timely project handovers by completing commissioning, dry-out processes, and documentation.

Resolve technical and material issues effectively to maintain project alignment with goals.

Quality and Compliance Management:

Deliver high-quality refractory jobs by adhering to approved drawings, BOM, and industry standards (API/ISO/ASTM).

Reduce defects and ensure consistency by conducting regular inspections and aligning activities with project specifications.

Resource Optimization:

Maximize productivity and workforce efficiency by validating skills and optimizing manpower allocation.

Achieve cost savings and minimize wastage by monitoring material consumption and ensuring alignment with BOM.

Safety Assurance:

Promote a culture of safety by enforcing ADANI HSE standards and participating in safety drills.

Mitigate risks in high-risk activities by adhering to confined space and work-at-height protocols.

Vendor and Contract Management:

Drive cost efficiency and ensure financial compliance by verifying contractor billing and progress against work orders.

Facilitate smooth contract closure by maintaining accurate records and adhering to contractual terms.

Educational Qualification:

Essential: Diploma / Degree in Ceramic / Civil Engineering

Work Experience (Range of years):

4-7 years experience in execution of various refractory jobs

Hands-on experience of handling similar project of same kind.

Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External)
